Pricing

WHO RUNS SA charges for one thing: credits, which you spend to back a contestant with votes. Buy a credit pack once, then vote instantly from your balance — no payment round-trip per vote. A vote is a show of support that counts toward that entry's position on the live leaderboard and toward your own Supporter status. There are no subscriptions, no hidden fees, and no physical goods. Credits never expire.

You can also top up any amount between R10 and R1,000. Custom top-ups convert to credits at a fixed rate of R1 per credit (the packs above include a bonus for buying in bulk).

What you get

• Credits are added to your balance as soon as payment is confirmed, and never expire.
• Spending credits to vote is instant — added to your chosen contestant's total immediately.
• Your cumulative backing unlocks Backer, Supporter and Kingmaker status, shown on your profile and in live chat.
• Reaching Kingmaker tier (or getting enough people to vouch for you) unlocks the ability to start your own poll.

WHO RUNS SA is an entertainment and community-engagement platform. There are no monetary prizes for contestants or voters — backing is symbolic support, not a wager or a purchase of goods. See our Refund Policy and Competition Rules for more detail.

WHO RUNS SA also intends to direct a portion of platform proceeds to charitable causes across South Africa — charity partners haven't been finalised yet, and this page will be updated once they are.
